When it comes to the world's best hotel review sites, the real winners aren't the usual suspects. They're 'none of the above' - which can be good news for savvy travelers looking for detailed accommodation recommendations. That's according to a new survey by CivicScience. The polling company surveyed 1,789 American adults about the websites they currently use to find hotel reviews.

Give it a minute to accept. None of the top sites were reliable. This confirms my long-held hunch as a consumer advocate. When it comes to hotel reviews, people don't believe everything they read online. The reason is simple - they have been deceived many times.
