Hotels Com Review
Hotels Com Review - Currently in a charge dispute when the hotel told me on short notice they are closing! A disappointing exchange with a foreign call center. Agreed to a refund. It will take 7-10 days. Spoke to a virtual assistant while following this the second time - absolutely no authority they just follow a script.

Hotels Com Review
I just received an email saying that I am not eligible for a refund as the hotel denied my request. Frustrated and angry. The hotel phone just rings, so apparently Hotels.com is lying about contacting them for confirmation. Terrible customer service. I spoke to a virtual assistant named Ian Klecht about an apartment being sold to me that didn't even exist.
He repeatedly lied to me during the 2 hour conversation, claiming he had called the owners. They confirmed that he was lying. He then admitted that he didn't speak English and ended the conversation by thanking me for using hotels.com. I am now reporting this company for fraud.
The customer service is just terrible in comparison!!! They hire foreign call center workers who have a script to follow and no ability to apply common sense at all. I have asked to complain more than 10 times and have been ignored each time during live chat.

Now I'm facing losing the £360 voucher because I can't change the booking date until 5 days ago. Will never use or recommend this company to anyone. There is no point of contact and no complaints procedure. The company is doing great. Enjoy their rewards program with 10 overnight stays for an average of $10 per night.

Their new rewards system seems like it's not that good because they claim you'll get less money than usual for 10 investments tonight. Much less bad, tricking people into booking the wrong room and then telling them they can't stay there and canceling their booking.
Hotels.com is a scam lying on the website if a place has a pool, booked it miles outside of Seoul so I could beat the jet lag by lounging by the pool, no pool and no guilt, back to hotels. com Customer Roaming no more Terrible company, refused to correct the mistake they made and blamed the hotel for not refunding, I was even on the phone at the hotel at the time unaware of hotel.con!Hotel.com tried to say they were in contact
with hotel But the hotel felt bad that they solved the problem at their own cost! Terrible service! Terrible company and unfortunately lies to deceive the customer! Honestly avoid this company at all costs! Worst service ever. Never trust or use this scam. If you use a credit card.

Change PIN This is one of the locations that will be in 60 minutes. Probably the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The woman could not speak English and was apparently in the bathroom with 30 other people. After 40 minutes of not understanding I gave up and called my psychiatrist for mental relief.
I have been a member for 5 years. Customer service 0/10. Hotel reservations are canceled and they do not notify you. In many cases the prices are more expensive than bookings.com or going directly with the hotel. My last experience was the last and I had to delete the app after my next stay (no refund so I have to move on) I will never use Expedia again.

again The phrase that comes to mind for this company is 'you can polish 💩 all you want, but at the end of the day it's still . I paid for a reservation in Wyoming two months ago. I'm on my way from California and I got an email saying I'm sorry to see you canceled the reservation.
I never canceled my reservation. I don't see a refund or any proof that I did this. So I call Hotels.com and talk to a guy who barely speaks English and he tells me I called and canceled due to bad weather. It is not true at all.
Industry Tip
Not sure what this company is trying to pull, they are not trustworthy. Never use Hotels.com. They lost a loyal customer today. I am in tears and my vacation is temporarily ruined, I hope to find another hotel when I go to Wyoming. If that hotel has one or two room types (several suites or "royal" rooms, etc.), don't count on a price match.
That room won't be available for the dates of your stay (because guess what? You're booked!) so they won't honor the price match when the same dates appear on websites with a lower rate. I have used it twice now and will not use it again.
Better to book directly with the hotel. At least this way you can max out the hotel if there is a problem. I had problems and was asked to check where I got the ticket from. So I tried, but didn't do much about it.

Hotels.com does not review any hotels. The last one we stayed at was mostly expat rental advisor and it was terrible. We were given a refund for a booked holiday as we were unable to attend which was nice. This is given to us in a voucher.

Went to re-use only to find you can't use 2 at the same time meaning we were £100 and couldn't leave - the lady on the phone (a supervisor) could have emailed the wrong apartment And a phone number was listed so he could not be reached for check-in instructions.
They mishandled the reservation as well as the refund. Furthermore the company was writing on the day of their arrival that they would pay me anyway because the agent had forgotten to cancel the booking!?! Booked a fully flexible hotel, hotels.com does not allow me to reduce the number of nights in the reservation, claiming that they cannot contact the hotel.
Hotels.com is the contracting party responsible for reducing reservations and refunds. They now refuse to even respond to emails or support requests. Avoid and book directly with hotels! Booked a hotel through Hotels.com for partial payment using Tesco Clubcard points. However, the Tesco vouchers were split between the two codes and the website would only accept one voucher per booking.
It doesn't say this on the site, and Tesco won't transfer my vouchers either! Do not use hotels.com. I thought I booked 2 nights in London but no confirmation number. They have taken the money but I have been trying to confirm the booking for over 2 hours.......complete joke.
