All these luxury features come at a price, as the prices are expensive in every way. The hotel's sister property, the four-pearl Hershey Lodge, is a more reasonably priced alternative that offers similar (but more comfortable) amenities. The Hershey Hotel is truly a destination resort.
Built in the 1930s by Milton S. Hershey himself, the hotel strives to be everything to all guests -- a getaway for indulgent couples, a grand convention hall and a family playground. The hills have manicured lawns and beautiful gardens with colorful flowerbeds and evergreen trees.

Curved brick paths lead to cozy nooks with charming fountains and stone benches. Inside, there is a luxurious fountain lobby with a magnificent fountain with a blue sky painting, a beautiful mosaic floor and an intricate tiled floor. The two-story, square lobby looks like a Mediterranean town square or courtyard, with old street lamps, plaster arches and large palm trees.

Several separate seating areas invite guests to relax and take it all in. The reception room is impressive, with large white columns framing the illuminated stained glass ceiling. More impressive tile work is on display in The Circular, the hotel's flagship restaurant with no corners and an oval bar.

The hustle and bustle of downtown Hershey and nearby attractions. it's a bit secluded and not within walking distance of downtown or other restaurants, but the Hotel makes up for it with a free shuttle service to area attractions.
The only major attraction within walking distance is beautiful Hershey. guest rooms at the Hershey Hotel fall into two main categories: those in the main hotel and those in the cottages. Both options are elegantly traditional, but Woodside Cottages are individually decorated. The rooms are combined with light golden wallpaper, bedding in shades of gray, carpets and curtains, and gray wooden furniture covered with marble or granite.

Carved mirrors on dark wood tables add a striking touch. All rooms and cottages have mini-fridges, safes and one-cup coffee makers. iHome docking stations and DVD players (with concierge movies) are a nice touch, along with flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi. Room service and Hershey's chocolates and queue-stopping service are standard.
Bathrooms are luxurious and polished, but rather small with beige marble tiles, shower/tub combinations and wooden sinks with magnifying mirrors. The Spa at Hotel Hershey offers comfortable robes and quality toiletries. Although the rooms offer enough space, they are comfortable, and the standard rooms are not large.

Standard king, queen or two queen rooms range from 220 to 340 square feet. Premium Kings are slightly larger at 400 to 500. Each has a sofa bed, a large Jacuzzi with overhead shower and a seating area. Two queen rooms have a patio or balcony overlooking the indoor pool.
The junior suites are 400 square feet in size, each with a sofa bed and a lounge separated by French glass doors. Larger suites, ranging from 1,450 to 2,100 square feet, have multiple bedrooms, bathrooms, and living/dining areas. Rooms at Woodside Cottage are spacious (525 square feet) and feature dark brown tones.
